CLIENT SMAY

New headquarters for SMAY have been created in the Niepołomice Special Investment Zone in Podłęże, along with a modern production plant and a R&D centre. The total area of the complex exceeds 21,400 m2.

Moreover, sustainable solutions that support the building’s low emissions were implemented, such as iFlow (energy-efficient ventilation system) and photovoltaic panels.

Scope of services

We provided Project and Cost Management services, along with Site Supervision. We were also involved in the contractor tender process.

Challenges

  • A significant increase in prices of construction materials and availability issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic;
  • Reduced staffing of contractors due to the war in Ukraine;
  • Consequences of flash flood.

Achievements

  • Developing an effective risk management strategy;
  • Achieving the highest possible standard of the facility within the planned budget while keeping the schedule despite negative external factors.
